Latin Grammy winner Diego García ‘Twanguero’ — hailed as a “fire-breathing guitar hero” and “Spain’s King of Twang” — is celebrated for his masterful fingerpicking, warm tone, and distinctive fusion of Spanish folk, Latin rhythms, surf, cumbia, and rockabilly. Based in Los Angeles, his music is as much a reflection of place as it is of personal history.

This intimate and powerful performance celebrates Twanguero’s ten-year musical journey through California. From solo Spanish guitar meditations to the electrified fusion of LA’s borderlands and culminating in a sneak peek of his new multicultural collective Soñando California, the show is a living tribute to the artist’s path and the State that transformed him.

The evening unfolds in three chapters: it begins with the introspective beauty of Carreteras Secundarias Vol. 1 & 2, performed solo on his Ramírez guitar. The energy builds as a trio takes the stage for high-octane Latin surf, cumbia, rockabilly, and twang-infused electric guitar from Pachuco, Electric Sunset, and Panamerica. In its final act, Twanguero is joined by guest female singer-songwriters — including Nancy Sánchez, Alih Jey, and Fabiola Roudha — for original works and reimagined Latin classics, blending tradition with a modern edge in a collective celebration of California as a true cultural crossroads.
