As a nonprofit public charity (IRS Code 501(c)(3)), the Ventura Music Festival is committed to keeping our performances accessible while sustaining our mission to bring world-class music and meaningful community programs to Ventura County.
Accessible Pricing
To honor our diverse community, we offer a wide range of subsidized ticket prices—from $29 to $129 for the general public throught 2025. Ticket prices may skew higher "at the door" and for special events. In addition, we are pleased to provide free group tickets (plus any required third-party processing fees) to qualifying large groups, including schools, elder care facilities, and places of worship.Community & Outreach Access
Beyond live performances, VMF extends its reach by offering online and streaming programs at no cost to hospitals and patients who are unable to attend in person.Dynamic Pricing & Sales Terms
Early Bird rates are available for a limited time. Prices may be adjusted upward at any point thereafter, based on demand, sales volume, or seating availability.
The highest ticket prices are collected at the door, when ticketing is permitted, up to 20 minutes after the scheduled start time of a performance.
Major donors and sponsors may receive access to exclusive Sponsor Circle seating, subject to availability and venue restrictions.
Mission Alignment
Every dollar raised through ticket sales directly supports VMF’s charitable programming for the general public—including concerts, school outreach, and wellness-through-music initiatives. We thank you for being part of a community that values both access to the arts and the sustainability of live music in Ventura County. If the venue itself does not have labeled, permanent seats (such as Ventura Music Hall or the Museum of Ventura County) our system cannot accurately show a seat map for individual seat selection, since there are no seats until we rent chairs and place them.
While we would prefer to use venues where seating can be assigned, this is not always possible, especially during the academic year.
We appreciate the frustrations that go along with general admission, and we are working with our new venue partners to build VMF seat maps so we can have a “choose-your-seat” option in the future.
Thank you for your patience and continued patronage while we grow!

For both seat-assigned shows and general admission venues, seats with the best view and placement relative to the stage will be priced at top tier.
The best seats and best seating section is Premium. Middle sections will be labeled Standard Seating, and seating towards the back will be marked Value Seating. Prices vary based on seat or section selection.
Want even better than Premium? Consider becoming a donor or business sponsor! Ventura Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible. Donors get to enjoy many perks, like free tickets and the very best seating, even at General Admission shows. Learn More.
