The Museum of Ventura County

The Classical Edge series is a meeting between music and the story behind the notes. Part concert, part history, and part discovery, renowned music educator and classical violinist Nuvi Mehta will be joined onstage by Reiko Uchida, a world-renowned pianist, recitalist, chamber musician, and Columbia University faculty associate. Together, they'll take us on an educational journey illuminating the birth of Impressionism.

NUVI MEHTA

“His old-fashioned Hollywood charisma extends to an eloquent and theatrical way of speaking that is almost entirely lost today.” - L.A. Times

Widely considered one of the finest speakers on classical music, Ventura Music Festival Artistic Director Nuvi Mehta has a gift for capturing minds and hearts. “His old-fashioned Hollywood charisma extends to an eloquent and theatrical way of speaking that is almost entirely lost today.” (L.A.
